”Radiate Happiness by Anjana Sahney Thakker is a 106-page guide to finding happiness, discovering your true self, and living a life filled with compassion. Anjana doesn’t make grand promises of overnight transformation. Instead, she gently takes you by the hand and shows you simple, holistic practices—beautiful steps that can fit effortlessly into your daily routine.Anjana is not just an author. She is an angel guide, Reiki master, Pranic healer, and Access Bars practitioner. She also incorporates color and crystal therapy on her clients’ journeys towards healing, and she has studied aromatherapy and Ayurveda. Her work blends wisdom from many healing traditions.

“Happiness is our Birthright,” Anjana says, and when we embrace happiness within, we can begin to understand what true happiness really is. Happiness lifts us up and makes us feel good about life in all its shades. Anjana beautifully describes how happiness, when it radiates from within, becomes contagious,it touches others and lights up the world around us. To have that power is one of life’s greatest gifts. Through real-life stories and relatable experiences, she shares simple, practical ways to fill your life and the lives of others with joy. She gently reminds us that love, gratitude, and compassion for whatever we do can change our entire path.Interestingly,

Anjana originally wanted to title this book Anjana’s Shamballa – the same name as her website, but later chose Radiate Happiness for reasons that become clear as you read. When I first came across the word “Shamballa” in the book, I immediately ran to Google for answers, only to find that the chapter itself held the meaning I was searching for. And that’s the beauty of this book, it doesn’t just explain terms you could look up online; it invites you to feel them, live them, and see how they can be part of your journey.

Anjana also opens up about her own story – how she left her work at a holistic center after waking up one day with the deep realization that she was meant to create something of her own. That’s how Anjana’s Shamballa was born. I’m so grateful to have read this book, because her personal anecdotes and reflections truly inspire you to look within and apply these insights in your own life.

As someone who never really grasped the idea of manifestation, I found a quote in this book that finally made sense to me: “The universe is like a big photocopy machine—whatever we think, it keeps producing more and more of.” That line helped me understand what manifestation really means.

I’ve taken so much encouragement from Radiate Happiness, especially in understanding that it’s okay to lose people along the way as we change and grow. As Anjana says, “Change is inevitable.” It can feel disruptive at first, but in the end, change happens for the better. She puts it so wisely: “When one changes, the dynamics of relationships change too. Everything around you will feel different from what used to be normal, and that’s perfectly natural.

”The biggest lesson I’m taking from this book is to find the real me. That journey begins when we’re honest with ourselves and committed to self-improvement. One powerful story Anjana shares is from her college days, when she was a young, vulnerable girl trying to fit into a country that didn’t feel like home, a story that touched me deeply.

One of the most fascinating concepts I discovered in Radiate Happiness is Ho’oponopono (go on, try to pronounce it—it sounds like a tongue twister, doesn’t it? 😁). But beyond the fun of the word, Ho’oponopono is about taking responsibility for our actions, seeking forgiveness, and healing our relationships with ourselves and others. It’s rooted in the belief that we’re all connected, and by cleansing our own hearts, we help heal the collective spirit of humanity.

What I truly appreciated is that Anjana doesn’t just list practices, she shows, through examples and exercises, how healing can happen. She reminds us how important it is to love, to feel gratitude, to be compassionate, to forgive, to stop seeing ourselves as victims, to grow, to laugh, and above all, to live a life full of joy and thankfulness.

Anjana’s work shines with positivity, empowerment, and the spirit of self-discovery.A book I would wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.
